My newly finished office/sewing room! August 2010 The 8 foot counter has great kharma b/c it is from my chiro office and I have fond memories of good times spent there with Diane and my patients. The tall wooden cabinet is also very special b/c it is a gun cabinet made by my Dad. It will soon be storing (some of) my fabric!

This is a Gun Cabinet I made out of 2 old lockers that I got for free on Craigslist. A little black paint and some homemade wooden gun rests an voila.

A great place to hide your Glock 23 and other handguns, along with ammo, and spare key’s. I designed and built this cabinet, reinforced the picture frame, stained the wood and attached the hinges in just under an hour. Eventually I will install it inside of one of my walls and attach it to the wall studs. People won’t see the cabinet because it will be hidden inside the wall instead they will just see the beer sign. I saw one business selling similar gun cabinets hidden behind a picture and they were selling it for 9.95 This cost me less than for all the parts, wood, and hinges.

This is a fine old cabinet we purchased at a Doctors estate sale for real cheap. Does any know of it history as a mass produced piece, or translation of the writing in Gold Scrypt on the fine wood?

I’ve always enjoyed fireworks, even as a young kid. As I got older, I started to mess around and find fun and different ways of setting off fireworks. Eventually, through messing around and trying several ideas, I decided I wanted to fire bottle rockets out of something resembling a rifle. After much experimentation, I created the PVC pipe fireworks rifle. This is the latest model I have made. It’s made up of one long 2 inch diameter PVC pipe, a PVC connector piece for the butt of the stock, one big bolt for a handle, small L shaped braces, a piece of acrylic plexy glass for a shield (which cracked), some cabinet hinges to make a breach, some foam pieces for padding and grip, and a lot of duct tape to fasten pieces together and keep your hands from being burnt by the hot PVC barrel. The other smaller homemade gun was made by a friend. It’s just a piece of wood with a small metal pipe taped to the end.
